Egyptian Christian newspaper reaches 80,000 readers an issue.
Only Christian newspaper in the Middle East encourages Christians.

In the midst of a sea of Islamic nations, God has graciously allowed our workers to publish the first Christian newspaper in the Middle East despite many reasons why it seems impossible that this is so. As a result of this miracle, Christians are encouraged.
David Joseph, president of The Last Harvest, also writes a monthly column for Egypt's only Christian Newspaper, El Tareek, with a readership of 80,000. His columns are bold and clear, and encourage believers to have a bold witness in their communities. "They feel someone is saying what they want to say," said Joseph.
After a recent article in El Tareek on the disappearances of Christian girls, the President of Egypt ordered an investigation. "It was out in the open now, and he was forced to do it," said Joseph.
El Tareek is just one of the many projects currently underway in the Middle East through the ministry of The Last Harvest.
The ministry in which we gratefully labor is the Lord's and it is to His glory that He uses His servants to spread the gospel among one of the most unreached people in the world -- millions of Muslims who have never heard a clear presentation of the gospel. It is our job to report in detail what God is doing through his servants that labor through the ministry of The Last Harvest, so that you, the reader, will give God the glory.
Even though we cannot share all the details about certain aspects of the ministry, as it would endanger some believers, we are grateful to be able to share just some of the projects God is using to encourage the churches, such as our radio ministry, Christmas gifts, and a first-ever Christian newspaper
.
Please pray for the continued encouragement of those who work in this ministry, because the work is genuinely hard. Some of our colleagues have labored long under the hot sun of persecution, danger, poverty and stress, as they minister to people burdened with many sorrows. Prayer is vital to the continuation of their ministry.
