International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Free Resource

RESOURCE FOR CHILDREN STILL AVAILABLE

November 11, 2007 is the International Day of Prayer for Persecuted Christians, and many churches around the world will lift up the many persecuted Christians in the Middle East, Islamic nations, and Communist nations in prayer before God.
Children, too, should be a part of this special prayer initiative, but it's not always easy to find materials that are specifically designed to help children understand what its like to be a child growing up in a culture where Christians suffer oppression and persecution. Some materials simply aren' suitable for young readers.

That's why we are pleased to be able to share this free resource with you: The Children of Egypt: A Lesson Plan About God's Little Christian Lambs in Egypt. Children in churches across America will now find a fun and thought-provoking way to explore this important issue with our free Sunday-school lesson plan for ages 6 to 12. Written by a professional writer and experienced home educator who is familiar with issues of persecution in the Middle East, this lesson plan is a perfect way to enrich children's understanding of God's grace, as seen through the eyes of children in Egypt.

Many times, children are the first to become enthusiastically inspired as a result of being introduced to their courageous brothers and sisters overseas. Download a copy of this resource and share it with your church's children's ministry.
