How Do We Reach Muslims?
What do Muslims believe and how is Islam changing the world we live in?
How do we reach Muslims in Western countries with the gospel of Jesus Christ?
Are there approaches that have proven more or less effective in reaching Muslims for Christ?
What are the main forces at work in Islamic nations that are causing pressure upon native churches, yet, at the same time, are inflaming spiritual passion among Muslims?
These are some of the questions that will be covered in a two-day weekend conference Friday, Oct. 5 (6 pm to 9 pm) and Saturday, Oct. 6, (9 am to 2.30 pm) at Foothills Christian Church.
Special presenters will include David Joseph, founder of The Last Harvest, as well as a church leader from the Middle East who will share his testimony.
Islamic leaders are expanding efforts to increase its influence across the Western world, and Christians in North America would do well to understand what is driving the expansion of Islam in areas of the world that previously had few adherents to its tenets.
Joseph is president of the Middle Eastern Evangelical Churches Fellowship of America (MEFCA). He is a former professor of Islam and Middle East culture at Southern California Bible School and Seminary, in El Cajon, Calif.
Joseph seeks to inform Christians of the need to expose the spirit of Islam, and teaching and encouraging them to pray strategically for Muslims in order to reach and win them to Christ.
