It
gives me great pleasure to be able to place in your hands this
study of the Gospel according to ST. John the Evangelist. I
had meant for this study to be as simple and as clear as possible,
especially to our beloved Moslems who are genuinely seeking
the truth - with a deep desire in their hearts to please God
Almighty. Yet, many beloved Moslems stumble at confusing questions
related to the truth revealed in the Holy Bible. On the one
hand, the Gracious Quoran urges them to ask the people of earlier
scriptures if they are in doubt of what has been revealed to
them - testifying that both the Torah and the Bible are Holy
Scriptures revealed by God Almighty who is not even approached
with falsehood. The Gracious Quoran says of the Torah and the
Bible that they were revealed to provide guidance and mercy
from God, and that He - The Holy One - has promised to safeguard
His Holy Scripture from any misrepresentation, or alteration
emphasizing that His words do not change. On the other hand,
anyone who reads the Quoran, then Torah and the Bible, will
realize that they are extremely and substantially different.
This provokes inquiries and questions in the mind of every genuine
seeker of the truth - provided s/he is not biased to a certain
religion, doctrine, belief or sect. I have therefore decided,
by the help and guidance of the Almighty, to venture this study
of the Gospel according to St. John the Evangelist - thus through
an Islamic approach. It is indeed a wide ocean of spiritual
realm and knowledge, carrying within its shores the greatest
description ever of the nature, characters, life, death and
resurrection of the Master and Lord of the entire earth: the
Lord Jesus Christ.This
study was originally offered in broadcasted episodes, and is
still being offered as such. Yet, due to its immense significance,
we considered posting it on the internet, in order to make it
accessible to anyone who wishes to read it. You can also ask
us for a copy of the audio recorded episodes should you prefer
to listen to them. May
God Almighty guide us all to His right path - He is the All
Hearing, and All Knowing.
